Polyphemus Cyclops Skull Prop Decoration

A Cyclops Skull Prop Of Mythic Proportions Polyphemus was cast by Homer as a man-eating giant cyclops--a monster with a single, orb-shaped eye in the middle of its forehead. When the hero Odysseus ran afoul of it on his fabled return trip from Troy and became trapped in the giant's cave. Thankfully he managed to escape the beast when he plied it with wine and as he slept plunged a burning stake into his eye. You see this tale being played out some long centuries afterward with this Polyphemus Cyclops Skull. It suggests that this is all that remains of the mythical beast. Though even people who are no familiar with the works of Homer will still get a kick out of the shocking detail rendered on this prop cyclops skull.
