Straw Gondolier Adult Sized Hat

Eventually what started out as refugee islands became one of the most powerful maritime city states in history. In the modern age, Venice has yet again morphed into something else in order to survive the tides of 21st Century culture. For the last 50 years or so it has become a romantic tourist destination that is well-known for taking leisurely trips down the canals in a Gondola flat-bottomed boat, piloted by a Gondolier wearing a hat just like this. The Perfect Lid For Your Gondolier Costume Venice has become such an iconic destination that it is used as the setting for many small plays and community theater events.
